We are naming Allison Russell our Artist Of The Week!
Allison Russell is a Montreal-born singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based out of Nashville. Throughout her career Allison has taken inspiration from a variety of genres including blues, country, folk, jazz, and Celtic. Allison was a part of the band Fear of Drinking, the music group Birds of Chicago, and musical collective Our Native Daughters. As a solo artist, Allison released the single Nightflyer in March 2021 and her album, Outside Child, was released in May 2021. Outside Child is her first solo album which has been nominated for several awards including three Grammy nominations. Check out Allison’s single, Persephone, from Outside Child.
