Mike Body is a rapper from Baltimore, Maryland. He has been described as a spiritual and Christian rapper. Over the years, Mike has won several awards including the Cleveland Music Image Awards Indie Artist Winner in 2018 and the Music and Movie Award in 2019. He has been making music since the mid-2000s. Mike continues to release music that edifies the soul and help inspire the marginalized and those that feel spiritually deficient. After witnessing and dealing with hardships of his own, Mike’s music is often catered to the downtrodden and the oppressed. Inspired by his favorite neighborhood Poplar Grove, in Baltimore, Mike considers himself to be community and family oriented which is what he emulates in his music.
