New Music Review: Mother by Cleo Sol
Mother is the latest album released by UK-based singer Cleo Sol. Cleo is an R&B and soul singer with a soft and dreamy voice. It is evident that Cleo has been influenced by old school soul music. This album is also very well-rounded as there are some hints of gospel throughout the tracks. Mother is a passionate and personal album about motherhood and Cleo being raised by her own mother. Becoming a mother herself was Cleo’s main inspiration for this album. Cleo sings about the lessons she learned from her mother and what she hopes to teach her own child.
