We are naming Mitski our Artist Of The Week!
Mitski is an alternative singer and songwriter based out of New York City. Mitski wrote her first song at 18 years old. She originally went to college to pursue film at Hunter College. Soon after that, she decided to pursue music instead and she went on to study music composition at Purchase College. While Mitski attended Purchase College she released 2 albums. Since then Mitski has released 3 additional albums. During her music career, Mitski has had the opportunity to open for Lorde during the Melodrama World Tour. She was also listed as one of the “10 New Artists You Need to Know” in the February 2015 issue of Rolling Stone. Mitski will be releasing her new album, Laurel Hell, on February 4th, 2022.
